What is actually on offer here
Three things, and only one of them is permanent.
A controlled live demo
The normal way to start. You hear the agent handle a real conversation rather than a scripted one, which tells you more than any specification. You can hear recorded calls before even that.
A no-commitment test run
Available depending on the use case and whichever offer is current. A small live campaign on your own numbers, which is the only test that reveals your actual connect rate.
Setup included with eligible recharge
When the offer is active, the one-time build may be included with qualifying recharge plans. The terms sit with the written quotation rather than on this page, because they change.
Volume pricing
Permanent rather than promotional. Usage runs ₹10–12 a minute and the rate falls at each credit boundary. How plans are quoted is set out on AI calling plans.
Deliberately not listed here: specific percentages and expiry dates. An offers page that quotes a figure is wrong the week the offer changes, and you would find out by being quoted something different. Ask for the current terms in writing.
The offers in this market, and what each is worth
Every offer in Indian AI calling is a variation on four things. Knowing which you are being shown makes them comparable.
Free trial minutes
Ten or fifteen minutes on signup, no card. Genuinely useful for hearing whether the voice is acceptable and whether the language handling holds up. Useless for the thing that actually decides a campaign, which is connect rate on your own list. Take it, but do not conclude anything from it beyond how the agent sounds.
A percentage off
Fifteen or twenty per cent for new customers, usually time-limited. Worth exactly what it says if the underlying rate was fair, and worth nothing if the rate was inflated first. Compare the discounted figure against an undiscounted quote elsewhere, never against the same vendor’s own list price.
Waived or included setup
The one-time build thrown in with an eligible recharge. This is usually the most valuable offer on the table, because setup is real work — conversation design, number provisioning, DLT registration, integrations — and waiving it removes a genuine cost rather than discounting an invented one.
Volume tiers
Not a promotion at all, which is why it is the one that lasts. The per-minute rate falls at each credit boundary and stays there. If your volume is near a boundary, moving up to it is a larger and more durable saving than any seasonal percentage.
What a free trial does and does not tell you
Free minutes answer one question well and three questions badly.
What they do tell you: whether the voice sounds acceptable, whether it handles your language properly, whether it survives being interrupted, and what it does when asked something outside its script. Those are real and worth testing.
What they cannot tell you: your connect rate, because ten minutes is not a sample. Your conversion rate, for the same reason. Or whether the thing integrates with your CRM, because trials rarely include integration. Those are the three numbers that decide whether a campaign pays, and no free tier reveals them.
The honest test is a small paid run on your own list — a few hundred real numbers, which is also the last step before going live. What that involves is set out in AI calling setup.
Why the lowest headline rate usually is not
Searching for the cheapest AI calling platform generally surfaces a rate that is real and a bill that is not what you expected.
The published figure across this market runs roughly ₹2 to ₹12 a minute. The effective figure, once platform fees, telephony markup and unconnected dials are counted, lands considerably higher. The gap is not dishonesty so much as a quoting convention: everybody advertises the number they control.
Ask what a 34-second call costs
On 60-second pulse billing it costs a full minute. Across a campaign of short calls you can pay for close to double the time you used. Billing here is per second, so 34 seconds costs 34 seconds.
Ask for the monthly minimum
A low rate above a high floor is not a low rate for a small campaign. The floor matters more than the rate until your volume clears it.
Ask what the rate excludes
A platform figure of around ₹3 a minute buys the engine. The number, the DLT registration, the scrubbing, the call flow and somebody to run it are yours. That is most of the difference between ₹3 and ₹10–12.
Ask whether unconnected dials are billed
Here billing starts on connect, so numbers that ring out cost nothing. On a bought list where fewer than half answer, that difference is larger than any discount on the table.
There is a fuller side-by-side in compare AI calling rates.
The only discount that does not expire
Seasonal percentages end. The volume tier does not.
Plans are sold in credits, one credit being one second, and the per-minute rate falls at each credit boundary. That reduction is structural rather than promotional, which means it is still there next quarter when the festive banner has gone.
The practical consequence: if your estimated volume lands near a boundary, buying up to it is usually cheaper than buying twice below it. Working out which tier a campaign needs takes three numbers you already have — list size, expected answer rate and useful conversation length — and that sum is worked through on AI calling plans.
Six questions to ask before taking an offer
All six are answerable in writing. An offer that cannot survive them is not an offer.
What is the undiscounted rate?
So you can judge the discount against the market rather than against a list price set to be discounted.
How long does the rate hold?
A promotional rate for the first recharge and a different one afterwards is a normal arrangement, but it should be stated.
What is the billing increment?
Per second, or 30- or 60-second pulses. This moves the bill more than most discounts move it.
Is setup included, and what does setup cover?
Conversation design, number, DLT registration and integrations are separable items. "Setup included" should say which.
What is the validity on the credits?
Recharge validity typically begins when setup is ready and runs 30 days unless the quotation says otherwise. Unused credits follow the written terms.
Is it GST inclusive?
It generally is not. Compare like with like.
Questions about AI calling offers
There are free trial minutes — usually ten or fifteen on signup — across much of the market, and they are worth taking to hear how an agent sounds. There is no free ongoing service, because every connected call carries real telephony cost. A controlled live demo is the normal way to evaluate properly.
Published rates run roughly ₹2 to ₹12 a minute, but the cheapest headline figure is rarely the cheapest bill. Billing increment, monthly minimum, whether unconnected dials are charged, and what the rate excludes all move the total more than the headline does.
Yes, and it is the only discount that does not expire. The per-minute rate falls at each credit boundary and stays there. If your volume sits near a boundary, buying up to it is usually cheaper than buying twice below it.
It may be included with eligible recharge plans while an offer is active. Because those terms change, they sit in the written quotation rather than on this page. Setup covers conversation design, number provisioning, registrations and testing, so it is a genuine cost rather than a discounted invented one.
A no-commitment test run may be available depending on the use case and the current offer. It is the only test that reveals your actual connect rate, which free trial minutes cannot.
Yes. Calling runs to domestic mobile numbers across India in nine or more languages. There is a separate page on AI agent deals for Mumbai businesses if that is where you are based.
Because an offers page that quotes a figure is wrong the week the offer changes, and you would discover that by being quoted something different. Ask for current terms in writing; the structure of what is on offer is what this page is for.
Not necessarily, but it usually means a different product. A self-serve platform at a low per-minute rate sells the engine; the registrations, call flow, integrations and day-to-day operation are yours. Whether that is cheaper depends entirely on whether someone on your payroll will do that work.
